HEADACHES

We all suffer from headaches at some point in our life. Some more than others. How do you deal with them do you just take some painkillers and wait for it to go away? Do you go to bed and know that after some rest it will have disappeared?

What do headaches tell us?  If we listen to our bodies, we are actually told lots of things.  I wonder how many of us are aware or even listen to what our bodies are trying to say to us!

Do you notice when you get your headaches are they:

At regular times of the day, week, or month?

At times when you are stressed?

After eating specific foods?

What other triggers have you experienced?

We can learn a great deal and then use this information to help us to avoid being ill and in pain.  We learn perhaps when and where to avoid certain situations or even take precautions to help us deal and not get a headache in the first place. Obvious I know, but do we actually do it!

Generally, our bodies are great communicators they tell us when they are not happy headaches being just one of them.

Do you listen to what your body is telling you?  If you do, that’s wonderful. If you are not sure take a notebook and start to monitor what and when things happen.  You will be surprised at what you find out and learn.that

As a reflexologist I sometimes have clients with headaches and have found that regular sessions help to balance the body to help de-stress reducing the occurrence of headaches. I wonder if you have tried reflexology for any reason. The New Year is fast approaching and I am planning on trying new things how about you?

I lke to pretend that Headaches are memories fighting each other!
